Happy Fathers Day
It’s 10pm on Fathers Day and we’re only now just winding down. It’s been a fantastic day with my four favorite people and I am so blessed to have them in my life.
This is my second Fathers Day this year. Earlier this year we we’re in Barbados for that hemispheres’ Fathers Day, and was spoilt then too. Here in Australia, Fathers Day falls in September, at the start of Spring. So what? So it means we’re in the middle of Spring Cleaning; and this year some of our finds have been particularly memorable.
Our best find this year brought back memories for my wife and I of our first borns arrival when we lived in Townsville. Like most new parents we had gone through all the books and classes and hospital ward visits. We had hired a Doula, and she had been working with is to help us prepare for the day. We had gone to classes to learn everything we could about bringing home a new born, and taking care of them. We were ready, I was ready. In fact I had a little book all set to record
- The first few days afterwards
We found that book today, and my wife and I had a little laugh about my almost OCD efforts. Check out the photos below, share if you wish, and feel free to leave a comment.
Thank you for dropping in and reading. It really is appreciated. Before you go please leave a comment.
