Slide Melbourne is bringing its giant water slides back to the streets of Melbourne this month, and its coming back to one of the most picturesque spots here in the Garden City. If you missed out on experiencing the recent Slide Melbourne set-up in Federation Square, then do not despair. The team is bringing their setup back to allow us to slide Lansdowne St once again.

Lansdowne Street, Melbourne
Tickets are available through the Slide Melbourne website. There are five (5) sessions per day, with each session lasting up to 2 hours. Tickets are limited, and on the day you will need to Register prior to the start of the session you wish to take part in. Registration opens 90 mins prior to the start of each session. Getting to Slide Lansdowne St
There is limited paid parking available around the gardens and streets near-by. I recommend that anyone heading down to Slide Melbourne utilise Public Transport. Lansdowne St is a short walk from Parliament Train Station (past the Victorian State Parliament) or from Jolimont Train Station (walking through Fitzroy Gardens). ps. they do provide inflatables so you can travel light on the tram or train.
Other Stuff to Note
All sliders must be at least 110cm tall to slide. There are no age restrictions to slide (providing that the slider is at least 110cm), however any child under 12 will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a ticket to the same session. Also note that in order to slide, sliders must also be under 120kgs. Anyone under the age of 18 will need to have their participation contract/waiver signed by their parent/guardian in order to slide.
So get ready Melbourne! If you’re after more information, then head on over to the Slide Melbourne website.
